2nd African Organic Research Conference (AFROREC) November 24 – November 25, 2025 Egypt

The 2nd African Organic Research Conference (AFROREC) will bring together researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to advance knowledge and collaboration on organic food and farming systems across Africa.

As part of the event, Denis Lairon, PhD, Emeritus Research Director at INSERM (French National Institute of Health and Medical Research) and member of the OFSP Steering Committee, will deliver a presentation titled: "Organic food consumption and impacts on human and planetary health: data from the French Nutrinet-Santé cohort."

New publication: Sustainable Agri-Food Systems: Environment, Economy, Society, and Policy — 2nd Edition (Open Access)

We are pleased to share a new open-access Special Issue in Sustainability, edited by Prof. Dr. Carola Strassner with co-authors. The volume brings together research on community resilience, environmental sustainability, and changing consumption patterns across agri-food systems — topics closely aligned with FQH's mission.

FQH at IUNS-ICN 2025: Join Our Scientific Symposium in Paris

We are pleased to announce that FQH (Organic Food Quality & Health) will host a symposium at the upcoming IUNS-ICN 2025 – International Congress of Nutrition, held from 24–29 August 2025 in Paris, France.

Symposium Title: Integrating food, farming, nutrition and health for a sustainable future – Lessons from organic food systems
Date: Wednesday, 27 August 2025
Time: 8 to 9 am
Location: Room 341, Palais des Congrès de Paris

This 90-minute session will explore the interface between organic food systems and global health, focusing on public health nutrition, socio-ecological transformation, and microbiome research.
